Where does the time go...

Okay - So it's been forever and year since my last post. Thanks to Anna - I'm back here to update my blog! Sometimes you just need a good swift kick in the rear - huh!?! Anyway - Life/Summer has been in full swing in my household. What started out as a laid back lazy summer turned into a non-stop on the go somebody save me from the craziness few months.

In short - hubby and I decided to house hunt (actually he's been nagging me for a few years now and I just finally gave in). It took us less than a week to find the beauty and a month later there we were at the closing! Okay okay...so...it wasn't all easy peasy. We had our ups and downs but in the end "I'm a homeowner!" Now we're just busy (overwhelmed might be a better word) with all the redecorating and cozying up the place. We're hoping by next summer to be completely finished with it all (these things take time ya know).

Other than the exciting move we've been busy with the usual slew of summer activities. I'm glad to say that summer is winding down (I hope) and I can now look foward to fall. Speaking of fall, am I the only wierdo planning her childs Halloween costume already??? I'm so dang picky when it comes to Nathan and stuff for Nathan!

Okay - I think that just about wraps up my busyness. Are you happy now Anna??? :)

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth...yet. Work has been hectic and when I get home all I wanna do is lounge!! Thank GAWD it's Friday!!! On to other news - I haven't been able to play with my blog settings/layout much this week. Hoping to get it all set up and together by the end of the weekend. We'll see.......

At the end of the tunnel - that is. I think I'm figuring out this blogging thing pretty well!!! Once you get in there things just seem to fall into place. Now I just need to get my design tweaked a bit and I'll be happy go lucky! Sweet Carrie offered to create my blog header! So super excited about that!

Haven't been doing much scrapping lately. I decided (once again) to do a little organzing in my room. Lots of weeding needed to be done and now to find good homes for all the misfit supplies! :) Keep an eye out - I just might have a lovely RAK posted here soon. Thankfully I just have a little stack of patterned paper to put away and I can finally dig into some of the new goodies that arrived last week.

Here's a couple pictures of the latest milestone in my familys life! It was a rough moment for me. I personally have been putting this off for months now! He, honestly, could have used a haircut long before he got one! Boy Tato! I just didn't want to reach that "not a baby anymore" stage!!! ssssiiigghh - Well here's the proof and believe it or not I'm doing pretty well with it! :)

Okay - So I've finally given in and joined the wonderful (or should I say confusing) world of blogging. I'm so unfamiliar with getting things started but I'm here anyway. :) Hopefully I'll have everything the way I want it in a few days.
